Growth continues to feed growth in Seinäjoki

THE 21ST CENTURY HAS TREATED SEINÄJOKI WELL, seeing it emerge as one of Finland’s fastest growing cities. More and more building projects, a steady inflow of new residents and an unrivalled, business-friendly reputation. And it seems like this is only the beginning. By 2021, Seinäjoki is planning to invest a total of €1 billion to ensure its future vitality. Planned projects include a complete revamp of the city’s commercial centre and close to 1,000 acres set aside for business development adjacent to or near the East Bypass.
